Alternative cold remedies - the results

Experiment
I drank the wine - very nice.
I ate the curry - though it wasn't hot enough, although I couldn't taste much at that time, so it could have been.

Result
Woke up the following morning with a banging headache and a mouth as dry as the Sahara desert.

Conclusion - Inconclusive.
Don't think it killed my cold but it felt very good at the time.
